Friendship with/through nature and culture
Vändra Gymnasium was founded in 1922, so in 2012 we celebrated the 90-th anniversary of our school.
Vändra school is one of the largest schools in Pärnu county. This year we have 335 students and 40 teachers.
Vändra has a rich cultural heritage which is significant to all Estonia. It has been the home of several famous Estonians. There are portraits of famous cultural and pedagogical figures, who were born or lived in Vändra, in our hall.
Our school tries to keep folk dance and choir singing traditions among our students. Every spring our students present a play. Acting and sport are quite popular in our school.
